PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Kraemer replaced the Rawson Avenue bridge as part of the I-94 North/South Freeway just outside of Milwaukee, WI. The new bridge was constructed in two sections to the side of I-94 and the spans were rolled into place within a 12 hour window using SPMTs. SB traffic on I-94 was shut down before work started at 10:00 PM on a Friday night and reopened approximately 9:30 AM the following morning. NB lanes were opened less than a half-hour later. This was the first time this innovative technology was used in the State of Wisconsin.
